Sri Krishna & the Yadava legacy

According to the Srimad Bhagavatam, the Yadava dynasty takes its name from Yadu, son of King Yayati. Sri Krishna was born to Vasudeva and Devaki in Mathura and raised by Nanda and Yashoda in Gokula.

The Bhagavatam tells how Krishna established Dwaraka for the Yadavas. In the Bhagavad Gita, he teaches Arjuna to do his duty without attachment to the outcome.
